[Bug 525607] New: [Goblin Bug] Elantech touchpads dont have any scroll function
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=525607 Summary: [Goblin Bug] Elantech touchpads dont have any scroll function Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: awafaa@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060200 SUSE/3.0.11-0.1.1 Firefox/3.0.11 Running an ASUS 1000HE netbook the touchpad which is an Elantech driven one has no scroll function. Whilst this is not a show stopper it is seriously annoying (yes I am too lazy to use the scroll bar!) As far as I'm aware the kernel we use has the required support for the netbook and the Xorg we use should have the required support for the touchpad too. For some reason though there is no scroll functionality. I have tested with Ubuntu's NBR and it works as expected there. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Try and scroll up and down on a page using the scroll zones on the touchpad 2. 3. Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: Page to scroll up or down -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
