fgl_glxgears does not run either. It stops with
Using GLX_SGIX_pbuffer X Error of failed request: GLXUnsupportedPrivateRequest Major opcode of failed request: 143 (GLX) Minor opcode of failed request: 16 (X_GLXVendorPrivate) Serial number of failed request: 41 Current serial number in output stream: 42
Try running "LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/X11R6/lib/ fgl_glxgears". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

From ati website:
https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/catalyst_7... * Connecting a display device that supports 1680x1050 to a system running Linux may result in a maximum display resolution of 1280x1024 only being available Therefore the new driver solves one problem but opens up a lot of others. I wouldn't call it a fix! -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
