YaST2 recognises the disk and partitions. I have an extended partition /dev/md126p3 with a logical partition (for /boot) on /dev/md126p8 and a logical volume for the main operating system lv_root. The only thing that looks bad during installation is that the status page (after disk setup before installation) shows /dev/md126p3 as the target for the bootloader. On reboot, I get "No Operating System" as the only output on a blank screen. The installer log files (all of them) as a tar -cz file are attached Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start install from KDE Live DVD x86_64 2. select logical partition on mdadm drive as /boot and logical volume for / 3. observe the extended partition holding the /boot logical partition as bootloader install target. 4. allow to continue and get disappointment on first reboot Actual Results: "No Operating System" Expected Results: boot -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
