now qemu/kvm guests havn't been installed, but I will install the guest.
Only if you want to :). I'm not asking you to install one, I was asking if you have a kvm guest defined. If you boot the default kernel (kvm), start libvirtd, then run 'virsh list --all', do you see any guests?
