[Bug 993334] New: klipper starts automatically in gnome despite explicitly saying not to do that
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=993334 Bug ID: 993334 Summary: klipper starts automatically in gnome despite explicitly saying not to do that Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME Assignee: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: Leon.Meier@yandex.ru QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- When a gnome session starts, klipper is always started in the left lower corner. This is a KDE application; I wish to prevent it from starting. When closing it via "right-mouse-button-click on the icon" -> Quit, I see a dialog window asking "Should Klipper start automatically when you log in?" and offering "Cancel"/"Do Not Start"/"Start". I press "Do Not Start", and the Klipper quits. But on the next login, Klipper starts again. Please repair. Gnome pattern version: 20151112-19.1 KDE pattern version: 20151112-19.1 As of today, gnome is up-to-date. If any more information is required, I'd be happy to provide it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Thank you, looks repaired now for me!
Thanks for confirming.
(However, my configuration has slightly changed in the meantime. I had to switch from gdm to sddm login while still using gnome sessions.
The display/login manager makes no difference here. It's the desktop session that autostarts applications. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
