https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=237676 ------- Comment #35 from casualprogrammer@yahoo.com 2007-04-21 11:39 MST ------- While trying to get closer: http://lkml.org/lkml/2007/1/30/8 seems to address the agpgart issue, the code is already included in 2.6.21-rc7-3-default, doesn't seem to make much of a difference though. On http://www.suseforums.net/index.php?showtopic=27873&st=20 there is a discussion of 945GM, actually I tried several hints. I changed section "Device" Section "Device" BoardName "Intel 945GM Express Chipset" BusID "0:2:0" Driver "i810" Identifier "Device[0]" VendorName "Intel Corporation" EndSection After that, the effects from Comment #30 are gone ( at least I didn't have any so far ) and I could run sax2, only it would state my card had no 3D option, but "dual head" was there again. Testing the screen layout would work also. Afterwards section "Device" would contain: Section "Device" BoardName "Intel 945GM Express Chipset" BusID "0:2:0" Driver "i810" Identifier "Device[0]" Option "LinearAlloc" "16384" Screen 0 VendorName "Intel Corporation" EndSection Changing Driver "i810" to Driver "intel" gets me "3D" back in exchange for "dual head" and the effects of Comment #30 are back again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
