Would it be possible to try and configure the "Traditional method with ifup" in Yast "Network settings" ? With ifup/ifdown the NM is not used. We could see then if the problem is in NM.
I am quite sure the problem is in NM, but I changed the configuration to the
"Traditional method with ifup" and now the WiFi connection is stable. Tested
during 40 minutes.
The only warning messages about the network I get in /var/log/messages are:

i can use my laptop during many hours before having problem with wifi... seem a little bit random.
But in what circumstances, do you use NetworkManager on a connection with native IPv6? So with an IPv6 router on your LAN? In those circumstances the problem of instability occurs with NM 0.9.0.4 and is definitely solved in 0.9.6/7. The problem is a bit alleviated when you allow, using SuSEfirewall2, traffic to IPv6 UDP port 546.
@Freek de Kruijf, so the problem it's nm... 0.9.6 should be available soon
It has been available in the GNOME repository a while back. So after that I can remove that repository and my self build 0.9.7. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
