Well, sorry. To be precise, the server has two issues:
1. crashing after resume 2. crashing randomly during work, with or without beeing resumed before.
I assume, the latter should have been resolved with the update kernel?

From SuSE 6.1 up to now I never had such an unstable X-Server in a final release.
