Choose a Download Method" between BitTorrent & FTP/HTTP it would be better. :) BitTorrent should be the first choice, because it takes strain off the mirrors. But, in some scenarios, users can not download with it. Metalinks (IMO) should be second choice, because they offer advantages over traditional downloads. For instance, they alleviate the checksum & repair issues mentioned on http://en.opensuse.org/Download_Help . They also offer failover to other mirrors, mixing FTP/HTTP/BitTorrent (with certain clients), include PGP signatures, and other cool features made possible with first class metalinks generated by your very own MirrorBrain.
