http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=901593 --- Comment #3 from Ancor Gonzalez Sosa <ancor@suse.com> --- It's working fine with current Factory. The URL http://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/13.2/RELEASE-NOTES.en_... is returning 404 now, which I guess it means we fall back to local release notes on the media. My guess is that when Lukas tested it, the url was actually returning the activedoc page (most likely a redirection to it). Karl, do you know what is the good and expected location for the rtf version of the release notes nowadays? Depending on the reply to that question, this needs to be fixed in YaST or server-side. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Updated the sync script now to also unpack rtf files (beside the html files). I noticed that there is now also a pdf and a txt version in the package - should those files also end up on the webserver ?
PDF could be useful (sometimes people asking for it). Maybe also TXT--does the yast ncurses UI display it, Ladislave?
(In reply to Ladislav Slezak from comment #5)
The online release notes are still not available, both http://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/13.2/RELEASE-NOTES. en_US.rtf
This file does not exist in the 13.2 package at all. Should it be there? Where?
No, we do not provide a special en_US variant
http://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/13.2/RELEASE-NOTES.en. rtf return error 404.
This is fixed now.
Good, that's also the fallback of en_US.
Setting needinfo to you, Karl, as you might be able to clarify my two questions.
Now it's Ladislav's turn :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

No, we do not provide a special en_US variant
Yast just tries the specific language first (en_US), if it fails then it fallbacks to the generic language (en). So it's kind of extra unused feature here...

Yes, it is. I think we can close it now. Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
