After the update no module in ccsm menu can be started rolling back to version python-ccm-0.8.4 (and prohibiting update) fixes the issue. I recommend to add a dependency on compizconfig-settings-manager or libcompizconfig of the same version. confirmed on 11.4
With compiz 8.X installed, an update installed python-ccm 9.2 without any dependency warning which broke compizconfig-settings-manager on 11.4. The previously installed packages were:
That's rather odd, considering that 11.4 was shipped with compiz 0.9.2.1. this leads to believe that the compiz packages are not the one from the distribution and a version mis-atch might be coming from the other repo used. Please verify with the maintainer of the repo you got compiz from in this case. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

1. zypper dup as usual
Good
2. do not know I already upgraded to 12.1
Bad... impossible to reconstruct / impossible to fix. The interesting part here would be to find what caused the 0.9.x packages not to install
From what version did you upgrade? 11.3?
