[Bug 362773] New: OO "Send Document as e-mail" feature doesn' t allow spaces in file name
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=362773 Summary: OO "Send Document as e-mail" feature doesn't allow spaces in file name Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: OpenOffice.org AssignedTo: eward@novell.com ReportedBy: dlandry@cs.dal.ca QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer I've configured OpenOffice to use sylpheed-claws as follows: Tools > Options > Internet > E-mail E-mail program set to /usr/bin/sylpheed-claws. When I go to File > Send > Document as e-mail, if there are spaces in the filename, then I get errors. The process is separating the filename into tokens based on the spaces and attempting to attach each token as a file to a new email. For example, if I try to send the file "My File.ods" the first error I get is: File /tmp/svpon.tmp/svppf.tmp/my doesn't exist The next error I get is: File /home/username/file.ods doesn't exist It would seem OO needs to escape the spaces or provide quotes around the filename. This is OpenOffice.org 2.3.0 and Claws-Mail version 3.2.0. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
