After a shutdown and restart I receive the message "no valid root system found". When I tried to install Beta 5 this message popped up immediately after install. System: Intel P4, Adaptec U2W (160) Adapter, 2 x Fujitsu SCSI drives (LVD SCSI), 1.5 GB RAM, IDE DVD. Unfortunately after the last kernel upgrade to 2.6.16.54-0.2.5-default the fault did not show up again. Therefore the problem is no longer reproduceable.
