Well the next php update is just delivered.
That's good, no ;-)? As I already said, I cannot reproduce your problem. 29811 ? Ss 0:00 php-fpm: master process (/etc/php5/fpm/php-fpm.conf) 29812 ? S 0:00 \_ php-fpm: pool www 29813 ? Maybe your /etc/php5/fpm/php-fpm.conf could little help. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Of course, the last solution is to write a systemd .service file which would be used instead of initscript when running under systemd ;)
Yeah, that I could try ;-). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

php-fpm.service is listed as RemainAfterExit=true for me, which it should not according to your description in comment #6.
well, there is an heuristic which can be wrong (which is why X-Systemd-RemainAfterExit was introduced). in your case, you have a daemon which is supposed to be running to consider the service active, so you want RemainAfterExit=false. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
