The oops from Comment #29 shows a tainted kernel ('P'). We generally do not support tainted kernels. Could you try to remove the proprietary kernel module and see whether the problem is reproducible?
I do not understand about the "tainted" kernel. I installed openSuse accepting mostly the default options, i.e., the installer installed the "tainted" kernel. Why would it do that? What is "tainted" about it? What do I change/select to install an "untainted" kernel?
As far us priority is concerned, please notice the Priority field in the bug report which is P2 (High).
Okay, I apologize for being impatient. I am frustrated by not having write access to our main server.
Perhaps only reproducible with older OS/2 servers I think.
