System is openSUSE 11.4 on x86_64. 2. I am running the GNOME 3 desktop. I haven't tried this on a more vanilla platform. 3. I went into YaST2 and did an "Install Hypervisor and Tools". I installed KVM but *not* Xen. 4. I clicked on "Virtual Machine Manager" in the Virtualization menu of YaST2. This error is the result. Under "Details", there's a stack trace: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virt-manager.py", line 467, in <module> main() File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virt-manager.py", line 419, in main from virtManager.engine import vmmEngine File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/engine.py", line 42, in <module> from virtManager.details import vmmDetails File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/details.py", line 33, in <module> from virtManager.console import vmmConsolePages File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/console.py", line 28, in <module> import gtkvnc ImportError: could not import gobject (could not find _PyGObject_API object) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install openSUSE 11.4 2.Upgrade to GNOME 3 desktop 3.Install Hypervisor and Tools from YaST2. I'm going to try installing Xen too and see if that fixes this. 2. I have been able to make and run virtual machines using AqEMU, so I'm not dead in the water. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
