I tried out the original KDE 3.5.7, then 3.5.8 and 3.5.9 from the openSuse buildservice. Always the same problem :-(. If I can contribute somehow to a solution, please tell me how, this is really a highly annoying bug! Maybe this information helps a bit: - I've openSuse 10.3 on an AMD64. However, I've got a small 10.3 i386 installation in parallel on my machine which does not show the problem! I think it's specific to x86_64. - I can always eject the CD by choosing "eject" from the right click menu on the CD icon on the desktop. Please clarify current status as it is not fixed according to status! As this is a bug report, the title suggests that there is a bug, but now is fixed by unknown in unknown version and with a NEW status. The status is currently NEW and 'Keywords' Fix_is_Ready is misleading and will result in a possible issues with certain search criteria. If the bug is fixed then 'Fixed in Milestone' does not indicate at what version it can be applied and auto-updates too. Set as Needinfo for clarification by QA before this bug gets lost both in resolution and search for Bug titles and has not been passed onto auto-update so this issue gets fixed for everyone effected. Many thanks to all.
