This cell phone has two data storages. One fix on phone (capacity 188 MB) and two replaceable sony micro stick. I my case it is 2 GB. If I connected the sony ericsson C702 cell phone into our home desktop via the sony USB cable and set phone's system for High speed data transfer as usually, the OpenSuse system didn't mount phone data storage and micro device too. Sense: No additional sense information The messagems Sense key ware continuing until I didn't unplug the cell phone. The first I thought there was a trouble with file system. So I disliked start Widnows XP and checked the cell phone there. All was fine the cell phone connected without any trouble and the checkdisk didn't find error on data storages. Then I tried connect C702 cell phone on my notebook (Thinkpad T61, 1GB RAM, OpenSuse 11.1 /64bit) with same result. Finally I tried connect other cell phone (older Sony ericsson K510). It worked fine. I of course check the google. It looks like some other distributions with kernel 2.6.27 (for example Ubuntu) have same trouble So my guess is: It is the trouble between Kernel and udev. Kernel version Linux IGOR 2.6.27.7-9-pae #1 SMP 2008-12-04 18:10:04 +0100 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux and the second tested machine. Start OpenSuse 11.1 (32 or 64 bit) 2. connect The cell phone sony Ericsoon C702 and start High transfer mode on phone. 3. check mount or /var/log/messages Actual Results: the automount didn't mount both disks and messages sad: littlemao kernel: usb 7-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2 Feb 7 23:56:48 littlemao kernel: usb 7-2: configuration #2 chosen from 1 choice Feb 7 23:56:48 littlemao kernel: usb 7-2: New USB device found, idVendor=0fce, idProduct=e0d9 Feb 7 23:56:48 littlemao kernel: usb 7-2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 Feb 7 23:56:48 littlemao kernel: usb 7-2: Product: Memory Stick Feb 7 23:56:48 littlemao kernel: usb 7-2: Manufacturer: Sony Ericsson Feb 7 23:56:48 littlemao kernel: usb 7-2: SerialNumber: 3543870249713790 Feb 7 23:56:48 littlemao kernel: Initializing USB Mass Storage driver..
