[Bug 363864] New: mkbootdisk fixed length filenames
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=363864 Summary: mkbootdisk fixed length filenames Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2 Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Andreas.Stieger@gmx.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Development Created an attachment (id=196464) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=196464) patch to make mkbootdisk create images with fixed length file names The mkbootdisk script on the installation media creates 15 floppy images. The split files are named bootdisk[1..15] with variable length file names. This is inconsistent with the boot disk's help output "cat bootdsk? >/tmp/bootdisk" and it also breaks the sorting used in the shell extention. patch is attatched -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
