[Bug 288313] New: SLES10 locks up under moderate to heavy tape device use
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=288313 Summary: SLES10 locks up under moderate to heavy tape device use Product: SUSE LINUX 10.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SLES 10 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: jsmeix@novell.com ReportedBy: josef_pfeiffer@symantec.com QAContact: jsmeix@novell.com Found By: System Test While testing Symantec Veritas NetBackup 6.0 and 6.5 SLES 10 will completely lock up under moderate to heavy tape load. If left running idle or using disk storage the system works fine. This has only been seen on Dell servers such as 2650's, 2850's and 6850's. HP and Fujitsu model servers appear to be fine. Upon locking up the only way to recover is a hard reboot. The kernel does not panic or create a memory dump. No errors of the lock up are found in the system message log. Any help trouble shooting this would be appreciated. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
