Although the device does appear in Dolphin's left pane, and when I click on it, it asks me for the LUKS password and the device then appears in the mount applet as normal. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Plug my drive into the USB port. 2. 3. Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: The "recently plugged devices" desktop gadget should popup a notification panel informing me that a new device has been plugged in. Have you got the latest Kde installed ? The bug was fixed by the KDE4 team, although it is still a problem in openSUSE under KDE 4.2 as my latest updates undid the fix I made.
