The XXX_location variables should point to the location of the respective utilities. The paths for moc and uic are correct but not for rcc, lupdate and lrelease. Steps to reproduce: $ pkg-config --variable=rcc_location QtCore $ pkg-config --variable=lupdate_location QtCore $ pkg-config --variable=lrelease_location QtCore Actual results: /usr/src/packages/BUILD/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.7.1/bin/rcc /usr/src/packages/BUILD/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.7.1/bin/lupdate /usr/src/packages/BUILD/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.7.1/bin/lrelease Expected results: /usr/bin/rcc /usr/bin/lupdate /usr/bin/lrelease Additional information: The problem was demonstrated using QtCore as an example. I don't know bugs can be reported to me actually. I ignore the very email as something bugs reported by me need attention. very very sorry. Actually it's a repository I created a long time ago for adding the app menu patch. patch can be added in but no active and luck result when building oxygen-appmenu with my result QT packages. So I thought it might be upstream unstable problem. and leave it there undeleted. Since nowadays QT 4.8 has been released by Upstream, that app-menu patch is included by default. I think you can try packages built by openSUSE team in official repositories. I'll delete my repository later.
