The compiler said /usr/src/packages/BUILD/arts-1.5.6/flow/gsl/gslfilehash.c:48: warning: right shift count >= width of type The source code is h = HASH_LONG (hfile->mtime); I agree with the compiler. hfile->mtime has type int, which is 32 bits. Does it cause any actual problems?
I haven't got the code in front of me now, but if I recall correctly the compiler issues this warning for shifting a 32 bit int by 32 places or more. It sounds like trouble to me.
