There is somewhere a race in the network buffer handling. In particular entry->skb is NULL in rt2x00lib_txdone here. entry->skb is set to NULL and all bits cleared in rt2x00lib_txdone. rt2x00lib_txdone_noinfo/rt2x00lib_txdone is called from rt2800usb_work_txdone if ENTRY_DATA_IO_FAILED bit is set. Sorry, I switched to a different wifi stick and it wasn't until this week that I had a chance to try out the original configuration again. I installed the 2.6.39.1-31-desktop kernel from Tumbleweed and the problem seems to be gone;
