[Bug 442015] New: LUKS encrypted volumes are detected but unusable during installation
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=442015 Summary: LUKS encrypted volumes are detected but unusable during installation Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Beta4 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jeffm@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- During installation, the partitioner correctly detects my encrypted LVM volumes, but they aren't available for use. If I assign a mount point, it tells me the file system is type LUKS_crypto (or whatever it is) and the installation fails. It doesn't prompt for a password to unlock them. The crypto file portion doesn't appear to handle this case either. I'd be happy to provide additional information and/or testing. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
