[Bug 354375] New: Defaults for new users (yast2-users) - too many 'browse' shortcuts
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=354375 Summary: Defaults for new users (yast2-users) - too many 'browse' shortcuts Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 1 Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kmachalkova@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=190801) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=190801) Screenshot of the dialog (notice the bottom status line) Go yast2 users module, pick 'Expert options' and 'Defaults for new users'. As it can be seen on attached screenshot, there are two buttons with the same label 'Browse' and each has a different quick access F-key assigned to it. That's not too useful. While in general it is advisable to assign F-keys to buttons to make navigation in text-mode easier, in this particular case it does not make much sense. User sees 'F6: Browse... F7: Browse...' in the status line and it is impossible to decide which F-key belongs to which browse button. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
