I just noticed that the patch works only if you update device-mapper package. That is why it failed in comment#7. I now submitted to opensuse:Factory (https://api.opensuse.org/request/show/367206), please update both lvm2 and device-mapper and confirm it resolved. Thank you very much! FYI: The newest opensuse:Factory have updated lvm2 from 2.02.120 to 2.02.141 and split thin-provisioning-tools from lvm2 package.
