[Bug 642068] New: librsvg-2-2 missing correct dependencies
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=642068 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=642068#c0 Summary: librsvg-2-2 missing correct dependencies Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: seife@novell.slipkontur.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User Blocker: --- I installed today a default net install of FACTORY net iso, which gave me something 11.3-like (different bug). The I added factory repos and did zypper dup. Before: factory:~ # zypper search -s librsvg Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... S | Name | Type | Version | Arch | Repository --+-------------------+---------+------------+--------+------------------ i | librsvg | package | 2.26.3-1.5 | x86_64 | (System Packages) | librsvg-2-2 | package | 2.31.0-3.2 | x86_64 | factory-oss | librsvg-2-2 | package | 2.31.0-3.2 | i586 | factory-oss | librsvg-2-2-32bit | package | 2.31.0-3.2 | x86_64 | factory-oss i | librsvg-32bit | package | 2.26.3-1.5 | x86_64 | (System Packages) | librsvg-devel | package | 2.31.0-3.2 | x86_64 | factory-oss | librsvg-devel | package | 2.31.0-3.2 | i586 | factory-oss "zypper dup" will not update librsvg to librsvg-2-2, which then causes e.g. virt-manager to not work correctly. On another FACTORY system, I see that: seife@susi:~> rpm -q --provides librsvg-2-2 librsvg2 = librsvg librsvg = librsvg librsvg-2.so.2()(64bit) librsvg-2-2 = 2.31.0-2.3 librsvg-2-2(x86-64) = 2.31.0-2.3 seife@susi:~> rpm -q --obsoletes librsvg-2-2 librsvg2 < librsvg librsvg < librsvg something is wrong. I would have expected that zypper dup would update librsvg to librsvg-2-2 version 2.31.0 Selecting Component GNOME because librsvg is maintained in GNOME:Factory obs repo. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
