[Bug 947675] New: Image for Raspberry Pi 1 contains a corrupt ext4 partition
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=947675 Bug ID: 947675 Summary: Image for Raspberry Pi 1 contains a corrupt ext4 partition Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 201505* Hardware: armv5 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation Assignee: yast2-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: freek@opensuse.org QA Contact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- After copying the Tumbleweed upstream image for the Rapberry Pi 1 on an SD card, the fsck command on the third partition, the ext4 partition, shows irreparable errors. This is already the case for quite some time. The current one is Build340.3. The latest build which works was Build330.10. Using this Build one can upgrade the system to the newest version of Tumbleweed from the repository without problems. The regular Tumbleweed image for the Raspberry Pi 1 shows an error that it can not find a bootable image. This is in the u-boot stage. Since I started my tests, there has never been a usable image in this location. I would suggest to put Build330.10 in the regular position, so one can use Tumbleweed on a Raspberry Pi 1. Currently nobody is able to use Tumbleweed on a Raspberry Pi 1 using the stuff from the download.opensuse.org website. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
