Oh, so far nobody tried to make it the default in openSUSE. I just make sure that it works as good as it can, to be ready for this step. It's still a huge huge amount of work, and issues to resolve. It's very experimental still, and many things are not resolved at all, or just don't work as expected, especially things I personally don't use. :) We'll get there, but it will take its time, and we can only really support/fix the latest version.
