[Bug 343480] New: When hibernation fails in gnome the error popup is clipped by the screen
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=343480 Summary: When hibernation fails in gnome the error popup is clipped by the screen Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: rodrigo@novell.com ReportedBy: robin.listas@telefonica.net QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: hmacht@novell.com Found By: --- This is related to Bug 341605; but this new report is not about sleep or hibernation not working, but that the error window drifts out of the screen, it is clipped and can not be read completely. What do I do? I try to hibernate the machine in gnome using the power management icon, and clicking on "hibernate". The machine tries to hibernate, the screen saver kicks in, and then something goes wrong (that's bug 341605, not this one, mind!), I'm prompted for my user password, and I'm back at my user session, with a sort of pop-up window at the bottom right of the screen, that can not be fully read because it is clipped (the link works, though). I attached a screenshot that explains it much better that a lot of words here: https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=184057 If you want, I'll reattach again to this new bug, I just thought I'd save some server space not doing it here again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
