It cannot continue." but it puts icon in tray. However this icon lacks any functionality. NetworkManager-gnome package issues the following command after installation: gtk-update-icon-cache -q /usr/share/icons/hicolor If you try to run this command as root from the terminal, does it issue any errors or warnings? Seems that last change broke it: $ rpm -q --changelog NetworkManager-gnome * Wed May 28 2008 sbrabec@suse.cz - Do not call gtk-update-icon-cache (bnc#395056). ..
