https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=215499 ------- Comment #2 from jpr@novell.com 2006-10-31 07:53 MST ------- Well, the source has a QuitActivated method: public void QuitActivated(object obj, EventArgs args) Not sure why it isn't hooked up properly though. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=215499 sbrabec@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED Resolution|FIXED | ------- Comment #7 from sbrabec@novell.com 2006-11-16 02:58 MST ------- Now it crashes after pressing "Refres all" with: The program 'Blam' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'. (Details: serial 7452 error_code 2 request_code 25 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Platform: SuSE Linux 10.2beta2plus x86_64, blam from FACTORY. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=215499 ------- Comment #8 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2006-11-18 20:35 MST ------- This must be x86_64 specific because it works perfectly fine for me on i586. Seems to be known elsewhere as well: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=385875 I guess that it's unrelated to the xulrunner version. Can you maybe try this patch? http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/blam/src/egg-sharp.cs?r1=1.4&r2=1.5&makepatch=1&diff_format=u It's the only x86_64-specific fix I could find upstream. (Cannot test myself because of lack of x86_64 hardware). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=215499 ------- Comment #9 from peter@novell.com 2006-11-22 07:18 MST ------- I'm also unable to reproduce this on i586. I'll try to track down an x86_64 box. I found another crash, bug #223205, while testing this. I think they're different - this looks like it's probably a pointer problem, while I think 223205 is a problem in the managed code. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=215499 ------- Comment #10 from peter@novell.com 2006-11-29 13:20 MST ------- Ok, I have confirmed that the patch Andreas linked to from GNOME CVS fixes the crash: http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/blam/src/egg-sharp.cs?r1=1.4&r2=1.5&makepatch=1&diff_format=u I've found the following: 1) It only happens on x86_64 2) It only happens with a completely fresh Blam start - you may need to delete ~/.gnome2/blam to see it 3) It doesn't happen when displaying a buggy Blam on a 32bit X server I believe that applying the s/int/IntPtr/ patch linked above is all we need. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
