https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=702234 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=702234#c0 Summary: In a special setup KMail does not apply filters Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: malte.gell@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 If you have several POP3 accounts and if you have specific, user created inbox folders for each POP3 account, KMail does not apply filters you create. This applys to KMail from KDE 4.6.x and KMail 2.x. Filters get only applied if you use the default inbox folder for *all* POP3 accounts. Of course this is not what you want, you want your own inbox folder for each POP3 account. I regard this bug serious, because many users use several POP3 accounts and want to have a specific inbox for each POP3 accounts and still want to use filters. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have several POP3 accounts 2. Create several folders you want to use as inbox folders 3. Chose these user created folders as your inbox folders for your POP3 accounts 4. Now create some simple test filters that you enable only for each of your POP3 accounts 5. Now send an email to one of your POP3 accounts 6. You will see your testfilter will not apply Actual Results: KMail filters do not apply Expected Results: KMail filters should get applied, even if you create your own inbox folder for several POP3 accounts. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
