Do "su -". Try to run a test mode app, see that it works. Now try a graphical tool: doesn't run. this would most likely be a dup of #428118

factory update fixed this issue on my side now.

Sorry, I can not run any tests, because "zypper dup" has been having problems all week :-( See factory list...
