I'm using a HP dm4 1201tx which uses an ATI hybrid card running on the open source drivers.please look at the screenshots attached.
Hi Federico, Would you please provide the more hardware list details for debugging? ex: "lsusb -v" , "lspci -nnvv" and "hwinfo" ...etc Thanks, AL -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The file I just attached shows the log from the point the laptop is started with kernel 3.5.0-35-desktop until it crashes on Jul 29 16:13:55. The computer is then started with kernel 3.1.10-1.16-desktop which is not affected thus that part of the log was removed.
On the previous bug I mentioned they said the issue was resolved on the latest kernel. I'll give that a try too. Nonetheless please have a look at the logs to see what you can find.
Pardon my chiming in on this thread. My similar problems (bug 742088) appear resolved with kernel 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 which I installed from Kernel/Stable repositories. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Yes, but there is no crash log. (In reply to comment #10)
Oh, there are no steps to reproduce the error. It just happens, normally under load but that could have been a coincidence. I used stress-1.0.4-1.x86_64 to test the CPU.
if it is possible to get system log started with kernel 3.1.10-1.16-desktop and crashed like your attached photos , please attach the log file, we need that to debug. btw, how about your CPU testing with stress?
