[Bug 342048] New: vesa: better handling of non-available modes
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=342048 Summary: vesa: better handling of non-available modes Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: eich@novell.com ReportedBy: sndirsch@novell.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com CC: mhopf@novell.com, lverhaegen@novell.com Found By: --- With all the various virtualization software around this seems to be getting more and more important. Handling of non-available modes in vesa driver should be improved. For example it doesn't make sense that a non-available/missing mode of 640x480@16bpp in the VBIOS results in the highest available mode of 1600x1200@16bpp. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
