When you used the fwcutter this time, did this message dissapear from your logs? b43-phy0 warning: You are using an old firmware image. Support for old firmware will be removed in July 2008. BTW this means, that b43 (non-legacy one) sticked to the device before. It's too new for 10.3 now - if you are using lvm, encrypted partitions, or so, be sure to also upgrade device-mapper and lvm.
