Plugging a USB wifi dongle in works fine. Will be attaching the dmesg output for the card and /var/log/NetworkManager. Output of lspci -vv: 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. However, the madwifi module is named ath_pci. Are you able to scan manually?
