https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=792308 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=792308#c0 Summary: Booting with Logitech USB Headset h390 causes keyboard freeze on HP G72 Laptop Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jsabatke@gmail.com QAContact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0 Plugging the headset in after the user session loads allows all functionality, including headset and keyboard. Here is a list of what I have observed: 1. Booting with the h390 plugged in results in the headset not working. 2. Booting with the h390 plugged I can login to a user, but then the keyboard is totally unresponsive. The mouse still works. 3. Booting with the h390 unplugged and then logging into a user, and THEN plugging the h390 in allows the h390 and keyboard to function properly. 4. After step 3, locking the computer, or going into the sleep mode, and then returning to the user still allows the h390 and keyboard to function. 5. After step 3, switching to another user disables the h390 and the keyboard. 6. After step 5, switching back to the original user enables the h390 and keyboard. Please note this is a LAPTOP so I have limited ability to switch USB ports, and I have tried every combination of USB mouse and headset.
