I am adding new details in this report, and the earlier report can be ignored in regard to this bug. I am testing on an Acer Aspire One with 1.5 GB RAM installed and BIOS version 0.3304 (the latest for North America). Running the GNOME i386 LiveCD, the display was correctly set to 1024 x 600. There were 4 screens setup in the Panel. I have tried to run System Monitor in all 4 screens now: For screens 1, 3 and 4: The monitor is openned above the top of the screen leaving only the bottom row of pixels for the window at the top edge of the screen. The bottom edge can be "grabbed" with the mouse and pulled down. The result is the bottom part of the System Monitor window is displayed. In Screen 1 roughly 1/2 of the window can be seen if the window is pulled down. Windows 3 and 4 displayed a different amounts of the screen, but with the same effect. The top bar of the window is never accessible, so one cannot use the "Full Screen" button or "Closer" button. For screen 2: This is different. The System Monitor window is fully displayed but with none of the outside gadgets. The size of the window is the full 600 pixels high of the main screen, but not covering the whole width of the screen. The outer border gadgets of the screen (such as the "Full Screen" button, the "Hide" button and the "Close" button), are not displayed and thus cannot be used. It should be possible to for the System Monitor to kill itself. I did not try that. It was thought that System Monitor might be "too big". I do not expect that this is the problem, though it might be that it has been re-sized for the LiveCD during the production of the LiveCD. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
