[Bug 273183] New: VMware Win2k or WinVista Sound Conflicts if Firefox is used in SuSE.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=273183 Summary: VMware Win2k or WinVista Sound Conflicts if Firefox is used in SuSE. Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Windows Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@novell.com ReportedBy: chucktr@trcompu.com QAContact: qa@suse.de If a Firefox session is running in Linux and VMware 5.5 is used, sound does not enable in the VMware session. It claims that the sound is busy and will not be started. It is possible that the conflict is because of my Home page which is: http://www.trcompu.com/ On this home page I have a Flash object that is used for selections. As you move the mouse over the selections a sound will go off. Now if I start VMware without Firefox running in SuSE the sound is ok. There problem will resurface if I start SuSE Firefox while the VMware operation is running. This was not a problem in prior vesrsions. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

As it's a binary-only program, we have no way to fix it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
