You should use "rcclamd start" to start the daemon via it's init script rather than calling it directly.
ERROR: Database initialization error.
The clamav base package doesn't contain a virus database. To get it, you either need to install the clamav-db package, or (better) run the "freshclam" command once before the first start of clamd.
There is also NO GUI interface for program application
