[Bug 222633] New: parted reports unable to deal with my compaq smart arrays
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=222633 Summary: parted reports unable to deal with my compaq smart arrays Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: per.jessen@enidan.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com This is possibly a duplicate, but I can't remember if I've laready reported it. During installation of 10.2B2 I get a message : "The partitioning on disk /dev/ida/c0d0 is not readable by the partitioning tool parted, which is used to change the partition table. You can use the partitions on disk /dev/ida/c0d0 as they are. You can format them and assign mount points to them, but you cannot add, edit, resize, or remove partitions from that disk with this tool." This has never been a problem before. For my purposes it is not a show-stopper. I'll attach the yast logs in a minute. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
