If one selects “Fit to page” there, leaves Okular, and starts it again to display a document okular foo.pdf it does not always display the document zoomed to fit the page but sometimes displays almost nothing at all, only some junk at the top left of the page. Changing the zoom-level manually to something different and then back to “Fit to page” makes the document display correctly. This doesn’t happen with all documents, but I found several documents where this problem occurs.
