If the file system is XFS the server dies after creating a zero byte file and ftp as the owner.

Both of these got the error. I have the exact same config on different systems and they work. One uses ext3 and the other reiserfs. Only the one on XFS fails. # If you want, you can arrange for uploaded anonymous files to be owned by # a different user. Note!
