Install Java (if not already installed) zypper install java-1_6_0-sun 2. Change the JCE policy link group into manual mode update-alternatives --set jce_1.6.0_sun_local_policy \ `readlink /etc/alternatives/jce_1.6.0_sun_local_policy` 3. Reinstall Java to run the postin script again zypper install -f java-1_6_0-sun Steps to undo the effects: 1. Change the link group back to automatic update-alternatives --auto jce_1.6.0_sun_local_policy 2.
