[Bug 461552] New: openSUSE 11. 1 cannot work with USB flash drive Kingston DTCR
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=461552 Summary: openSUSE 11.1 cannot work with USB flash drive Kingston DTCR Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Hotplug AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: daghtus@yahoo.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Community User When I connect USB flash drive Kingston DTCR (2GB flash drive with a built-in SD card reader), openSUSE 11.1 attempts to read from it (or at least I think so because the led indicator on the flash drive flashes like crazy but it never stops) but it neither succeeds, nor the device notifier discovers any new device. This very same USB flash drive works fine with openSUSE 10.3 or Win XP on the same computer. All other USB devices (e.g. USB flash drive Imation Nano 2GB or external HDD Toshiba 250GB) work fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Sorry about my late reply. I had to get rid of the computer (Compaq Presario v4000) which encountered this behavior. I currently do not have any openSUSE based computer at home where I could attempt to replicate the problem. I am therefore marking the case as resolved. I apologize for inconvenience. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
