[Bug 858700] New: rpcbind restart hangs on NIS client
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=858700 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=858700#c0 Summary: rpcbind restart hangs on NIS client Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: okir@suse.com ReportedBy: okir@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- when restarting rpcbind on a NIS client, it will hang indefinitely trying to resolve service names such as "rpcbind" or "portmapper" via NIS. The rpcbind code tries to avoid this by using __nss_configure_lookup, but the support for that is not compiled in. It's only active when HAVE_NSS_H is defined, but configure never checks for this header file... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
