[Bug 770831] New: oem image booted from usb stick tries to mount wrong root
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=770831 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=770831#c0 Summary: oem image booted from usb stick tries to mount wrong root Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: ms@suse.com ReportedBy: adrian@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I am using kiwi from openSUSE 12.2 for 12.1 images in openSUSE:Tools OBS-Appliance. There seems to be a regression (was not there at OBS 2.3.1 release time) which makes it not possible to boot a usb disk image. It is loading the kernel from /dev/sdb1 device, but tries to mount /dev/sda1 . Currently a blocker for my OBS 2.3.3 release, but I can try to use an older kiwi. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
